Overview
The Volunteer Center of Brown County strengthens the Green Bay community by connecting volunteers with local nonprofits. Through a variety of programs, individuals can contribute by mentoring children, supporting seniors through the AmeriCorps Seniors program, or coordinating group and corporate volunteer activities.
Annual community events such as "Rake Up Green Bay" provide meaningful ways for volunteers to help homeowners in need and maintain neighborhood beauty. The center also hosts the 2025 Volunteer Expo to facilitate engagement between volunteers and nonprofit organizations.
Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcomed to take part, with special programs for retirees and options for court-ordered community service. The center provides resources and support for nonprofits looking to recruit volunteers, including an affiliate partnership program with multiple benefits.
Operating Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm, and Fridays by appointment, the Volunteer Center encourages residents to donate or join their volunteer community to make a positive local impact.
