Johnson Controls Foundation is dedicated to enriching communities by funding initiatives that promote smart, healthy, and sustainable development across the United States. Since 1952, the foundation has reinforced philanthropy through its ongoing contributions and strategic grant programs.
Over the last ten years, the foundation has awarded more than $77 million to support charitable organizations focused on community improvement. Eligible nonprofits can apply for grants that align with the foundation’s mission and goals by reviewing the available funding guidelines.
The foundation also supports sponsorships for nonprofit organizations engaged with Johnson Controls employees or events at a national or global level. Interested organizations are encouraged to submit sponsorship requests at least 90 days prior to their events.
Johnson Controls Foundation’s programs include support for FIRST Robotics teams that have active employee volunteers, furthering education and STEM development within communities.
